Stylized as Baroque, toyish and simply put "overkill". the padding was redone, so as to look inflated in every direction, out of control, and threatening to grow and grow, as a chaotic continuation of the ostentatious nature of the Baroque style. At first glance, the chair's inflatedness and softness of the velvet create an inviting sensation, but when looking more closely the wayward and incontrollable side of the chair shows itself. the padding is on the edge between probable and flamboyant, to intensify the contradiction. when we face the chair, a dilemma arises: the chair is very inviting, but threatens to swallow us whole.
